Transpiration (evaporation) often limits the shelf life of conductivity standard solutions. These solutions ship in a special metal-lined envelope to extended shelf life—up to 5 years! the envelope is clearly marked with the 5-year expiration date from the date of manufacturer. When ready to use, simply open the sealed envelope and begin the 1-year shelf life. Both the bottle and certificate of analysis have a convenient marking area to write the new expiration date—putting you in control. Store at room temperature. One 17-oz (500-mL) bottle.
