⚔ BLADE MATERIAL: high carbon steel material. Full tang with blood groove and double pinned in the handle with bamboo pegs (mekugis), highly sharp edge and functional, do not point the blade at people or animals, and handle it carefully to avoid injure yourself.

⚔ PROCESS and CRAFTS: the steel has been folded by 11 times during the forging process. Thus it created the blade steel 2048 layers. There are visible folded layers hamon on the blade surface. This is forging method makes the steel more pure and the blade will be more strong. So it also is called folded steel blade.

About YJ COOL Black Wakizashi Damascus Folded Steel
The sword is constructed by forging and folding high carbon steel together 11 times. This process is carried out until there are up 2048 layers, creating beautiful grain like patterns in the steel. Using the fold forging method was to tranaform iron in to high quality steel and make the blade more strong. Overall Length: 30.7 inch/78 cm Blade Length: 20 inch/50cm Tsuka Length: 7.9 inch/20 cm Blade Width: 1.26 inch/3.2 cm Blade Steel: Foldded Steel Bo-hi: Long bo-hi on each side. Hamon: Folded hamon Tsuba: Iron tsuba. The Habaki (blade collar) is a one piece brass construction. Two Seppas (spacer) secure the Tsuba. Tuska: Hard wood wrapped white Ray Skin & Black cord ornamented with two Alloy Menuki Saya(Sheath): Black Wood Scabbard, Black sageo. Other Fittings: Alloy fuchi/kashira+brass seppa/habaki.
