About TotalBoat - 490554 Outdrive AF Antifouling Paint
TotalBoat Outdrive AF is a copper-free antifouling bottom paint that attacks build-up of slime and algae growth on your boat hull, propeller, outboard and outdrive. Outdrive AF was created in response to replace conventional antifouling paints that contain cuprous oxide which causes galvanic corrosion on aluminum boat hulls and underwater metal parts. The high percentage of organic biocide offers maximum full-season protection against barnacles and slime. Outdrive AF is easy to apply by brushing, rolling, or spraying. For roller applications, we recommend a 3/16� nap or foam solvent-safe roller cover. It drives fast, and can be launched in as little as two hours at 90 degrees F. There is no maximum dry time to launch. Outdrive AF contains a copper-free biocide is ideal for boatyards under environmental restrictions.
