KIT INCLUDES: 4 oz Wax Neutral Gelcoat MEK-P Hardener for Gelcoat 1 oz Talc Powder Filler (Thickens Gelcoat To Make Paste) 6 x .25 oz Coloring Agents In Easy To Open Containers (Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown) Mixing Cups with Measurements on them Mixing Paddles INSTRUCTIONS: Make sure damaged areas are clean and free of dirt, grease and wax, etc. Enough Gel Coat should be added to a plastic mixing cup to make all repairs. One of the six basic colors will match the gel coat. Apply a coat of NON Thickened gel coat after for best results. After the color has been matched, take enough of the pigmented gel coat to fix a damaged area. Place it on a clean piece of cardboard and mix with several drops of liquid hardener (adding hardener will darken the color slightly) Four drops of it in 1 teaspoon of gel paste will give approximately 15 minutes of working time before the material begins to "gel." Mix the liquid hardener thoroughly into the gel coat Apply catalyzed gel coat to the damaged area, working it into the area with a spatula or plastic spreader. Squeeze off the excess material. Sanding between each layer should be done, use 600 grit then polish and wax. Deeply damaged areas will require several applications.
