About Mares SXS Octopus
The Octopus Sxs is incredibly compact and lightweight. Sxs is the acronym of Second Extra Small that wants to emphasize the extreme lightness and compactness of this second stage.Due to its versatility, the Octopus Sxs is an excellent choice for any type of diving. In fact, with a couple of simple operations, the user can easily change the configuration of this Octopus by himself and use it with whip coming from the right or left side. Its slim and compact shape allows the Octopus to easily fit into a Gav pocket.The Octopus Mares Sxs is equipped with curved bypass with larger diameter, which offers a high airflow. This unique feature, combined with the patented Vortex Assisted Design (VAD) from Mares, provides divers with a comfortable airflow at any depth. Mares has also designed a new deflector to optimize the venturi effect and reduce the risk of self-delivery, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable inspiration effort even at depths above 100M.
