About DRYFOB Waterproof Car Key Container, Case, Holder
The DRYFOB Waterproof Car Key Container keeps your electronic car key dry, even at depth. All DRYFOB models have now been certified and IPx8 rated to 330ft (100m). Perfect for Scuba Diving and any other watersports or extreme sports where you want to protect your key from the elements. The interior of the DRYFOB is 1.65" (42mm) by 3.75" (95mm) and designed to fit all standard car key FOBs. The DRYFOB-L is slightly larger with an interior cavity size of 1.81” (46mm) by 3.93” (100mm) and made for larger FOBs. Both are neutrally buoyant with a FOB with a positive buoyancy of 2.3oz (65g) when empty and 3.2oz (92g) for the DRYFOB-L. Please ensure your car key fits before ordering. The patent pending DRYFOB Car Key Containers are machined out of a rugged aluminum alloy and anodized for additional strength and corrosion protection. Highest quality, and diver approved! Won't crack, tear, or puncture like inferior products. Dual O-rings and ample threads are used to provide a waterproof seal. There are two attachment points which can accommodate a (not included) lanyard, bungee, ring, or clip. Small enough that most divers carry their DRYFOB in a BC pocket but can be clipped to a D-ring or other secure spot. Note: When first taking DRYFOB out of the package, it may be difficult to open. Simply twist hard to open the top counterclockwise. Apply some of the supplied silicone grease to the O-rings which will both act as a lubricant (making it much easier to open and close) and help achieve the waterproof seal at depth.
