The essence of steel manufacturing techniques is that the steel is formed in consequence of sintering the metal powder mass at a temperature below melting point of a metal. CMP-D2 steel perfectly keeps the cutting edge sharpening and has high cutting performance and is resistant to salt corrosion. High carbon content (12%) provides for high hardness of 60-62 HRC on the Rockwell scale.
