Celestron – SkyMaster Pro ED 15x70 Binocular Features

  • PREMIUM ED OBJECTIVE LENSES: Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass virtually eliminates chromatic aberration or color fringing, a visual defect common in binoculars. You'll enjoy razor-sharp images with outstanding, true-to-life color.

  • POWERFUL 15X MAGNIFICATION: With these giant astronomy binoculars, you get massive 70mm objective lenses and powerful 15x magnification. It's the most popular combination for viewing objects in the night sky and distant land-based targets.

  • XLT LENS COATINGS: All air-to-glass surfaces are multi-coated with Celestron’s proprietary XLT coatings – the same ones we use on our observatory-class telescopes. XLT maximizes light transmission through the optical path for brighter images.

  • THREADED TO ACCEPT ASTRONOMICAL EYEPIECE FILTERS: Add an 1.25" astronomical eyepice filter to each eyepiece to experience game-changing views.

  • DURABLE, WATERPROOF BODY: A rubber-armored, polycarbonate housing protects your binoculars from damage and stands up to the toughest weather conditions. They're also fully waterproof and nitrogen purged to prevent internal fogging of the lenses.

  • FIELD-WORTHY ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: SkyMaster Pro ED comes complete with a comfortable neck strap, eyepiece and lens covers, a rainguard, lens cloth, a durable padded carrying case, and more.

  • UNBEATABLE WARRANTY & CUSTOMER SUPPORT: Buy with confidence from Celestron, a leading optics brand in California since 1960. Your purchase includes a Celestron Limited Lifetime US Warranty & US-based expert tech support.

About Celestron – SkyMaster Pro ED 15x70 Binocular

SkyMaster Pro ED binoculars are the ideal choice for amateur astronomers. With the large 70 mm objective lenses, BaK-4 prisms, ED Glass, and Celestron's proprietary XLT coating technology, the view through a SkyMaster Pro ED is second to none at this price point. The 70mm objective lenses have tremendous light-gathering capabilities, delivering superior low-light performance, even in the dimmest conditions. The Extra-Low Dispersion (ED) glass virtually eliminates chromatic aberration, also known as color fringing, a visual defect common in binoculars delivering edge-to-edge sharpness with excellent color correction and razor-sharp images. SkyMaster Pro ED's eyepieces are threaded to accept standard 1.25" astronomical eyepiece filters to deliver game-changing views. The SkyMaster Pro ED 15x70 mm's built-in tripod adapter allows the binocular to be attached to a tripod for added stability and acts as a balance rail by sliding along the center support rod, perfect for connecting a red-dot finderscope. Once you align it with the binocular, the red-dot finderscope will help you pinpoint your target in seconds. The polycarbonate and aluminum housing allows the binocular to be lighter weight without sacrificing its durability. The protective rubber armor is extremely rugged and durable and can handle demanding use. The fully waterproof housing for all weather conditions provides peace of mind when unexpected weather occurs. The housing is also filled with dry nitrogen gas to prevent the internal lenses from fogging when moving between extreme temperatures or using the binocular in damp conditions. Bring distant objects into view with 15x magnification—great for observing celestial objects in greater detail, searching for wildlife in the brush, or viewing a distant object on the horizon.
