This Katana is constructed of 1075 high carbon steel, heat treated and annealed to 50-55 Rockwell C scale and is heat treated and annealed to around 50-55 Rockwell C scale. The blade comes in a polished finish that is accomplished by hand, using abrasive materials. The Walnut handles are used in some Condor machetes, knives, and hatchets and are finished with a smooth grip which are known for their nice dark look and long durability.
