The Condor cloudburst Axe is a 23in Axe with a blade length of 5-3/4in x 3-1/4in. It is constructed of 1060 high carbon steel and is annealed to 50-55 Rockwell C. It is also coated in the Condor natural finish, giving it a bare metal look, which has the appeal of a well-worn pair of jeans. There is a special treatment over the top of the blade to help repel rust. The American Hickory handles are used in all Condor axes and are selected for proper grain Orientation.
