A little brisk out- well we have the answer for that. Our Tetra vest uses a lightweight 95 gram primaloft TM silver insulation for warmth coupled with a stretch windproof, water resistant fleece in all the areas you need movement. At the chest we put a water-proof zipper and taped water-proof pocket in the case you take an unexpected dip to help protect those items (cell phone) that don't handle the water too well. Add in secure zip side pockets, a reflective welt zipper tape around the chest pocket and there's not much more you'll ever need in a vest. The Tetra may be lightweight, but it packs a punch.
