H1 offers the latest saddle top from Selle Anatomica in an affordable design. H Series saddles utilize a stiffer top than X Series. They were designed for cyclists who might have otherwise prematurely stretched X Series saddles. They're also built for cyclists who prefer a stiffer riding platform such as those coming from many years on a Brooks. H1 is suspended over a 4130 chromoly rail system that has been hardened to take a higher level of abuse. The rumors you heard about bending rails don't apply here. We've tested these rails beyond the ISO 9001 standard for bicycle saddles and real world tested them as well. They don't bend. Period. Having said all that, this saddle still has no break in period. It feels good from day one. H Series is the saddle for all cyclists above 180 pounds. We recommend H Series for all long distance riders, up to a maximum of 250 pounds.
