About Castelli Men's Squadra Stretch Jacket, Windproof
The days of flappy wind-proof cycling jackets are over. Castelli was one of the first to make aerodynamic wind-proof jackets. Since then, Castelli has made improvements. Wind and waterproof jackets such as the Idro are lighter and more compact than ever. The Squadra blocks wind completely but unlike many of its predecessors, the Squadra fits like a second skin. Beside wind-blocking, the jacket is breathable so sweat and heat get drawn outwards. At around 100 grams in weight, it is incredibly lightweight. Stretch panels are tightly knit and the high collar keeps drafts out. No material flaps around in the wind nor does cold air circulate into the jacket. The design creates a perfect fit no matter what position you hold on to the bike. Reflective details on chest and lower back increase visibility when the sun is low or covered by clouds. The Squadra is easy to fold into a small package and store in your rear jersey pocket.
