The non-freestanding MSR Carbon Reflex 1-Person Ultralight Mesh Backpacking Tent offers the full protection and simple setup of a tent while weighing as little as a tarp, and it packs down incredibly small, almost to water-bottle size. This 3-season solo backpacking tent features ultralight carbon fiber poles, lightweight fabrics and a zipper-free vestibule to make it ideal for minimalist and ultralight backpacking. For fast and light travel, a minimalist shelter can be constructed using a footprint (sold separately), poles, and rainfly. Set up, the main interior floorspace measures 84 inches long and 30 inches wide (17.5 sq. feet) with an interior peak height of 34 inches. The vestibule provides an additional 7 square feet for boots, packs, and gear storage. Includes tent body, rainfly, poles, guy cords, stakes, and stuff sack. The Rainfly has DuraShield waterproof coating; the tent floor has Xtreme Shield waterproof coating (which lasts up to 3 times standard waterproof coatings) as well as a durable water repellent (DWR) coating. The complete setup weighs 1.82 pounds and packs down to 17x5 inches. The minimum weight setup (body, rainfly, poles) is 1.44 pounds. Manufacturer’s 3-year limited warranty.
