MASUM 10” Blade Gurka Panawal Kukri, Handmade Features

  • A Heavy Duty Kukri – This is a heavy duty 15.5” length Khukri that is sure to make you feel special and powerful when you carry one. Its long believed to never even think of assaulting a Gurka Soldier with Kukri in hand because of the damage he can cause with a Khukri. This panawal Khukri will give you the same feeling when you grip one in your hands. The OM notch and flared pommel with inward curve blade makes this kukri a classic one.

  • Extremely Sharp 2 fuller Blades – The heavy 10” hand hammered and finely refined blade is sharp enough to cut a paper. Famous for its slicing and chopping abilities, the blades are made from superior quality carbon spring steel with a thick 9 mm spine and wedge shape. The 2 chira (fuller) spaced evenly reduces that extra weight from the belly making is a stunningly balanced Khukri. The panawal full flat tang visible from outside on both sides makes it a heavy duty tool.

  • Inward Curved Ergonomic Handle – The 5.5” dark brown rosewood handle forms a perfect symmetry with the 10” blade providing a firm and balanced grip. Two pieces of rosewood are glued on both sides of the full tang and triple riveted firmly for durability. The flared pommel at the bottom stops the khukri from slipping through the end. A small lanyard hole for wrist cord at the edge is an added advantage.

  • High Quality Leather Scabbard – Two pieces of cotton wood is enclosed by black leather and sewed firmly and is open enough to slide in the Khukri without any hassle. The leather frog features a laced-up design and is detachable. The single belt loop comes handy to carry it around the waist for easy and quick operation. A loop at the tip of scabbard is useful to hang it on the wall.

  • A Multi-Functional Khukuri – Khukri is the tool for household and fieldwork in many regions of Nepal and every household has it. You can use it for building, chopping woods, pruning, felling branches, cutting meat and vegetables, digging, clearing shrubs, skinning or slaughtering animals, opening cans or any outdoor activities. Display it as a decorative piece at your home or gift it to your loved ones as it fits for any occasions.
