About ESEE Knives Izula-DT W/Handle, Molded Polymer

The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula". We know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor - the IZULA knife is built the same way. The video below shows one of our team taking a voluntary sting during a jungle survival class. Specifications: Overall Length: 6.25″ Blade Length: 2.63″ Thickness: .156″ Steel: 1095 Carbon (Carbon Steel Models) Weight: 2.0 Oz. w/o Sheath Finish: Textured Powder Coat (Carbon Steel Models) Grind: Flat Molded Sheath w/ Clip Plate Pommel: Carabiner Hole Choice of Handle Scales ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor on the blade. Use Lock Tite when assembling any hardware, such as attaching the clip plate to the sheath.
