Exquisite fusion of traditional and contemporary model – Known for tremendous chopping and slicing weapon, this particular model is an Iraq Issue for the British Gorka Soldiers serving in Iraq Freedom Operation. The 8” blade is quite traditional with recurve blade and OM shaped notch at the neck. The real eye catcher is the handle with one arm Quillon at the bolster and a wave patterned 3 grip handle with a flared pommel similar to the older version and butt cover to enclose the full tang.

Ergonomic and Safe Design – The finely forged blade is wide and forward bent reducing the wrist movement for injuries. The spine is flat and hefty providing a good support for the thumb producing immense force for a deeper cut. A ripple design 5” handle fits seamlessly between index and rest of the fingers with a one armed quillon at the bolster that prevents hand from slipping forward to avoid hand cuts. Notch at the neck prevents blood from dripping.

Care Instructions Apply lubricants on the blade once a month or after every use to and avoid rust. It is important to remove any moist, water or fingerprints on the blades. Always polish the leather scabbard with matching shoe polish to retain the original color and texture. Clean the handles with furniture wax. If the khukri is to be kept out of action, always oil the blades heavily and wrap it in plastic. Store the kukri in dry normal temperature.
