The Exotac TinderZIP is a zipper pull that can be used as tinder in an emergency. With 5 pulls included, each pull has an inner core that is highly flammable, waterproof, and easy to ignite. This tinder will allow you to start a fire in any environment. Place a TinderZIP on all of your jacket and pack zippers for an almost limitless supply of easy-to-light tinder so you can be prepared for whatever the outdoors throw at you. The red treated core easily lights from a spark - simply pull the core out and fluff the end with a knife before sparking. TinderZIP can be lit from a ferrocerium rod or a sparker. It burns like a candle wick for approximately 1 minute. It is water resistant and easy to carry. Made in the USA.
