The Caiman is a feared crocodile in Central America. During my surf trips to El Salvador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua, the locals would always warn us to avoid river mouths. However, this is exactly where the best waves are, in the Caiman's backyard...saw a few of these monsters up close and personal. The Caiman EDC design resembles the long snout of the mighty Caiman, and closely resembles a Bowie shaped blade. Like all Off-Grid knife designs, the Caiman is overbuilt and made for everyday hard-use. The steel is D2 with a tumbled-black finish with G10 scales. The Caiman rides super deep in your pocket with the option of left hand carry. The blade glides on ceramic bearings with a satisfying flipping action. Add the Caiman EDC to your daily rotation, and if you're ever by a river mouth in Central America, watch your six.
