About Morakniv Basic 511 Fixed Blade Knife W/Molded
The Basic 511 is the most used of Mora's classic knives. Appreciated and loved by professionals and hobby craftsmen for generations, it's a proper Mora knife. The solid finger guard optimizes safety and the new, larger-shaped handle makes the knife sit even better in your hand. The blade is made of high quality carbon steel, manufactured in Mora according to their secret recipe. The carbon steel also makes the knife easier to re-sharpen so you can use it over and over again. However, keep in mind that carbon steel can be affect by moisture and corrosive environments so make it a habit to wipe your knife and oil the blade after using it. These knives measures 8.125" overall with a 3.5" carbon steel blade. The handle is constructed of highly durable polypropylene.
