The 32+10 liters by volume Freerider Pro 32+ SL is designed for backcountry skiers looking for a full winter-spec pack with expandable capacity for multi-day ski tours.
Alpine Backsystem: The Alpine back series incorporates a secure compact fit for full pack control and full focus on the terrain with a top carrying performance and comfortable ventilation between the two soft stripe back pads. The tensioned Delrin U-shaped frame evenly distributes weight for enhanced stability without weighing you down.
SL Women’s Fit: SL carrying systems were designed for women with a shorter cut, narrower shoulder straps and conically shaped hip fins to allow for the system to move comfortably with your body naturally. The SL models are also ideal for some men, with a very slim build and with long legs and a short back or men who tend to wear size S/M.
Multi-purpose fastening straps: The specially designed attachment straps can be used in a variety of ways: skis can be attached diagonally or in an A-shape, snowshoes and snowboard vertically. They can also be used for lateral compression.
Features: avalanche equipment compartment with reinforced shovel sleeve, zip closure on back for quick access, roll-top for expandability, integrated helmet holder, hip fins with zipped pocket and gear loop, adjustable sternum straps, stabilizer straps, ice axe attachment, stowable gear straps for affixing skis/board/snow shoes, inner stretch compartment, zuppered partitioned pocket for goggles storage, snow resistant fabric, and 3L hydration compatible.
The Freerider Pro has all the features and flexible capacity you need for multi-day winter adventures in the mountains. This latest incarnation of the Freerider Pro has a new roll-top closure. This allows you to expand the capacity of the pack by 10 litres. The roll-top itself is also fitted with a stowable strap for the attachment of extra kit or a climbing rope, or to compress the roll-top itself. At times during the day when you don’t need your skis, snowshoes or snowboard, they can be attached to the outside of the pack quickly and easily using two dedicated gear straps; skis can be affixed diagonally across the back or in an A-frame, a snowboard or snowshoes in an upright position. These versatile gear straps can also be used for compression.
