Simply Hymns is a collection of 32 hymns that include many of Joe's personal favorites. Most of these 42 pages of hymns can be played at a beginner level, noting only one string at a time. One unique aspect of this book is that it comes in three different versions. One is for the popular DAD tuning. The other includes the same or very similar arrangements for the DGD tuning. The newest addition is a version for the DAA tuning. It is Joe's hope that by becoming familiar with different tunings for the same songs, players will be able to discover the relationship between tunings and begin to discover which tuning works better in different circumstances.
