The Greengate OEF-P-2MH0-MV-S PIR High-Bay Fixture Mount Sensor is designed to detect motion from a heat emitting source (such as a person entering a space) within its field-of-view and automatically switching lights on and off. Lights will remain on until no motion is detected and a preset time delay has expired. If no motion is detected during the time delay, the relay is opened, turning the load off. No adjustments are needed at installation. After the installer test, the sensor will automatically set itself to the default 10-minute time delay. At installation, the sensor will scan the coverage area to determine the optimum sensitivity setting. In applications where significant daylight is available and day-lighting control is desired, units with photo-sensors are available. When the space is occupied and the light level is below the set-point, the lights turn on. With a built-in power supply, the Greengate OEF-P-2MH0-MV-S PIR High-Bay Fixture Mount Sensor controls fluorescent and HID fixtures. The fixture has a side mount that directly installs to a fixture through a standard 1/2-inch knockout, or by using the mounting adapter (ACMB) which allows you to position the sensor specific to the application. The nipple on the sensor attaches with a lock nut through a 1/2-inch knockout on the fixture or on a junction box and all wiring passes through the same knockout. Zero-crossing technology maximizes relay life and ensures wall switch longevity, and there is no minimum load requirement. For indoor use only, the PIR switch operates in temperatures of 32 to 104-degrees Fahrenheit (zero to 40-degrees Celsius), and relative humidity of less than 95-percent, non-condensing. The switch plate has a white finish, is only 3.08 inches in diameter by 1.70 inches deep (7.83 cm by 4.32 cm), and the sensor’s coverage diameter is twice the mounting height (2MH), up to 40 feet. It’s versatile for rooms with high ceilings, warehouses, manufacturing, and garages.
