CeraTex 3140 is square braided ceramic fiber rope gasket/packing. It is suitable for high temperature applications up to 1800°F continuous (2300°F Max). Firm square braid structure for tight sealing applications, abrasion-resistant, compressible and resilient, flame and chemical resistant, compatible with most corrosive chemicals. Excellent for seal gasket and insulation applications for furnaces, boilers, kilns, ovens, metal casting and many other heating devices. (Ceramic fiber may cause itching and irritation to skin and eyes. Excessive inhalation of ceramic fiber may cause health issues to respiratory tract.
