This aqueous solution of lab grade Congo Red can be used as a pH indicator, due to its color changing to blue below pH 3.0. Above a pH of 5.2, it will appear red in color. This chemical is for laboratory use only, and is not intended for food, drug, or cosmetic Use. It should be kept out of the reach of children.
