Yupik Organic pinto beans are ideal for making Refried beans, spreads, or as an addition to soups, stews, casseroles, salads, and more. Pinto beans are dried, dark, wholesome beans. For best results, soak beans in water overnight. Boil pinto beans in a large pot of water for 1 ½ hours to 2 hours, or until tender. Once cooked, pinto beans transform from speckled red to fully red/dark brown. Hearty pinto beans are mild in flavor, while creamy in texture. Pinto beans mash or blend easily to create spreads or dips. For best cooking results: 1. Rinse & drain 2. Soak in unsalted water overnight 3. Drain, add to pot with fresh cold unsalted water, slowly bring to a boil until the beans are tender, 2 to 3 hours approximately.
