The Wusthof Bakers knife is very different than other knives. The long blade of the knife can cut through cakes of all sizes. The blade is triangular in shape so it can also be used to serve with. This cake knife is micro serrated so that it will not tear or cause excessive crumbing. A straight blade would ruin the cakeby tering it. The offset handle acts a a good guide for portion control as well as balance while serving.
