WW2 Japanese Arisaka Type 38 Carbine Rifle Leather Sling with Unit Markings. After many years of searching for a quality original Arisaka type 38 Carbine sling I finally found one and sent it to my leather guy and had him make an exact copy. Unit marked with white Kanji characters "1st Raiding Brigade" which was a Japanese Paratrooper unit. I could not have the original accurately translated because of the missing character so I decided to use the Paratrooper unit seeing Paratroopers are an elite unit. I also used all brass hardware for durability and long life. A great quality item for the Historical Rein-actor or for that War Trophy you have!! Most of the Arisaka rifles are missing the sling.
