The WMF Vitalis compact steamer measures 35 cm x 21.5 cm, holding a capacity of 3.5 L and is ideal for those who choose to cook healthier, tastier dishes in smaller portions. A special feature is the integrated thermometer located on the centre of the high quality glass lid. This enables you to ensure the food is cooked at the required temperature throughout the cooking process without the need for lifting the lid.Using the WMF Vitalis compact steamer couldn’t be simpler. The steaming rack is perforated and sits comfortably inside of the WMF Vitalis compact pan, serving as an insert. The rim around the base of the steaming rack can be removed if required by simply applying pressure at either end. This enables you to steam whole fish or even stack additional inserts on top, steaming multiple dishes at one time. When steaming, the food simply lies on the perforated insert without coming into contact with the water, cooking in the rising steam from the water below the steaming rack. This cooking method not only retains the vitamins and minerals within the food but also enhances the intense flavor of the ingredients.The base of the WMF Vitalis compact steamer is suitable for all hob types including induction, and is completed with 2 stay cool handles which stay cool to the touch throughout the cooking process.
