The function four set includes a 2.5 qtr. covered casserole, a 2 qtr., 4 qtr. and 6 qtr. casseroles with lids. The lids are what sets this set apart. Made from 18/10 stainless steel, glass and Red silicone - they allow for four different functions: closed for steaming, boiling and a quick cook; open for allowing steam to escape while cooking and draining off cooking liquids; and a large and small sieve for pouring off liquids without losing your ingredients. The pots are made of 18/10 stainless steel with a polished finish, and stay cool handles. They made be used in the oven, although the lids are only heat safe to 300 degrees. The trans-term base ensures even heat distribution and excellent heat retention.
