Each color within this wide and balanced spectrum of 96 colors, has been selected and formulated to offer the greatest choice so that artists can use a unique palette that best suits their work. Antwerp blue is a rich transparent blue color. It is a softer version of Prussian Blue which was the first synthetic blue pigment. It was made by German chemist Diesbach around 1704.
