The petal-shaped pans add a fresh and personal touch; decorate with edible or marzipan flowers for added effect.Since the pans come in four different sizes and are in a nonstandard petal shape, a baking and serving chart on the packaging helps determine the appropriate baking time and amount of batter required for each pan, as well as the quantity of batter and icing needed overall. Decorating ideas are included on the packaging as well. The 2-inch deep pans, deeper than standard cake pans, ensure cake sides are straight and smooth for easy icing.
