Whirlwind pcDI 2-Channel Passive A/V Direct BoxThe pcDI uses 2 separate DIs (one stereo 1/8" input, one RCA). It takes unbalanced stereo signals from your CD/MP3 player, iPod, computer sound cards and convert them into a low impedance balanced XLR outputs. You can now plug them directly into mic inputs of a mixing console. Plus, you can run long cables without any unwanted noise. Whirlwind uses their signature TRHL-M transformers in the pcDI. The Hi-Z to Low-Z transformer features a metal shield that offers extra security in your signals. The metal housing and Faraday shield block out external static electrical fields.
