Add this amazing kids book to your cart and ENJOY! Review ***5 stars The book starts off with Josh being unable to get his coat on and his mother helps him. Then his older sister can run faster than him and wins the race! This is another event that creates the emotion of frustration. I like how the author has the mother helping Josh with his coat and the father talking with him about how he'll get older and be able to run better just like his older sister! The father in this book does a great job of distracting Josh with a game of hide and seek where everyone has the same skill level at playing. Josh encounters another frustration with the rock climbing on a wall. He just can't make it to the top! He is determined to do his best and does succeed finally! Everyone applauds his efforts at success!! The message is a good one with a variety of circumstances that can cause frustration. Each situation is dealt with a little differently with each of the parents participating and Josh finally overcoming his own frustration with his determination. The illustrations are lively and coincide nicely with the written story. The words flow well for reading. The story itself isn't too long holding the interest of the child with several instances of frustration illustrated to talk about with the reader, parent or caregiver. -Kathy (Goodreads) From the Author Do your kids get frustrated often?
