Silver, MD, is an assistant professor at Harvard Medical School in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is the author of Post-Polio Syndrome—A Guide for Polio Survivors and Their Families, Life After Stroke: Recovering Your Health and Preventing Another Stroke, and After Cancer Treatment: Heal Faster, Better, Stronger, and has written dozens of magazine and newspaper articles and authored numerous research publications.
