West Chester IRONCAT FR Cotton Cape Sleeve protects the upper body and arms against threats associated with welding or tooling environments that usually have high temperatures, sparks, and slag. The FR sleeves have black anodized snaps and rivets that protect from flashback/ the sleeve is designed to coordinate with flame resistant bib. It has adjustable cotton straps for better fit. The work safety apparel is made from sateen cotton fabric. The cape sleeve is widely used by welders working in steel mills, shipyards or manufacturing. The sleeve is also preferred by those handling gas welding or torch work. The cotton sleeve is ASTM D6413 compliant. The garment offers flame-resistant performance that can last longer if properly maintained through at-home or commercial washing.
