About Wells Lamont 1196XL Men's All Purpose Cold Weather

Wells Lamont 1196XL Men's All Purpose Cold Weather HydraHyde Split Cowhide Suede Leather Glove with 3M Type C 100G Thinsulate Insulation and Knit Wrist, Saddle tan, Extra Large. HydraHyde is Well's Lamont patent pending specifically tanned leather that is both water resistant (seals out moisture) and breathable (keeps hands drier). Standard glove leathers absorb water and perspiration. When they do, in the summer they get hot and uncomfortable, but in the winter they get colder. Then, when they dry out, they get stiff and board, never to regain their original natural feel. Well's Lamont HydraHyde leather stays drier and softer. Tested vigorously through BLC (British Leather Center), world renowned institution for leather research and testing. Hard work can be hard on your hands - that's why Wells Lamont's HydraHyde Gloves are built for durability, protection and comfort. The shell is constructed from tough, cowhide suede leather and features an oversized extra wear palm patch for rugged use and longer life. Inside, glove is lined with 3M's Type C 100 gram Thinsulate insulation to keep your hands warm. With its inside-out knit wrist, this popular and comfortable glove is easy to put on and take off. Wells Lamont was created in 1907 by William Orson Wells. In 1930, when Mr. Wells developed the leather-palm glove with the brand name White Mule, Wells Lamont became the most prominent, best-selling leather palm glove manufacturer in the United States. The mule image became significant in their logo and tag line "Stubborn about Quality", both of which are still in use today. Over a 107 years in business and Wells Lamont still practices the same basic principles today; conduct business with utmost integrity, do what your competitors cannot do, the customer is the top priority and there is no substitute for quality.
