About Wej-It Original Wedge Anchor, Carbon Steel, Zinc
The Wej-It Original wedge anchor provides a secure hold in solid masonry and uncracked concrete, meets Federal Specification GSA FFS-325 Group II Type 4 Class 1, and complies with former ICC-ES Legacy Report #1821 code. The anchor consists of a carbon steel body, washer, and nut, and is zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. It must be installed into a drilled hole with a diameter equal to that of the anchor to an embedment depth of 2" or greater. The washer lies flush against the mounting surface when the anchor is inserted into the hole. Tightening the nut activates the positive wedge connection on each side to secure the anchor in place and help prevent loosening when under vibratory loads.
