About Wasp WCS3905 Waspnest ABS CCD Handheld Laser

The Wasp WCS3905 Waspnest ABS CCD handheld laser barcode scanner comes with a 6' USB cable, WaspLabeler software, and a book about barcode technology and can be used to scan and decode linear one-dimensional (1D) barcodes. This handheld barcode reader contains CCD (charge-coupled device) light sensors for accuracy and wear resistance, and the sensors can scan barcodes from up to 1" away at a speed of up to 45 scans per second in continuous mode. The 6' USB cable can be connected to the USB port of a computer or another host system (sold separately) to transmit barcode data and power the barcode scanner. The barcode scanner's housing is made of ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), which helps resist impact. The WaspLabeler software can be used to design, create, and print linear one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) barcode labels, and is compatible with Windows-based computers that have a Pentium 4 processor, 2 GB of memory, 512 MB of storage, and a CD-ROM drive.
