Microcomputer chip permits setting four separate channels for simultaneous count up or countdown procedures. Set any time from 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds to one second. When zero is reached the timer starts counting up to show time elapsed since alarming. Large 1.9 cm LCD permits viewing from across the lab. Additional features include stopwatch, time-out, and time-of-day display. Use all four channels simultaneously as count-up stopwatches or in any combination of count up/countdown. The touch of a button returns the display to the previously programmed countdown time. Extra-loud, high-decibel alarm sounds for one minute or may be silenced manually. Finger-size keys make it easy to set times and change channels. Magnetic back allows timer to be placed on any metal surface. Unit also has a flip-open easel for standing on the lab bench, a spring fastener for clipping to a notebook/clipboard, and a hole for use with a lanyard. A serial numbered certificate is provided from an ISO 17025 calibration laboratory accredited by A2LA to indicate instrument traceability to standards provided by the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
