About Volu Sol - Denatured Pure Ethanol SDA

About Volu-Sol In the 1970’s, a group of chemists began working with the University of Utah to define and create diagnostic stains and reagents for the medical industry. The innovative and quality solutions became so popular that it lead to the formation of a manufacturing company. The company, Volu-Sol, relocated its offices from Henderson, Nevada to Salt Lake City in 1995. Volu-Sol’s history of manufacturing high-quality diagnostic stains and reagents for more than 30 years means that the company is recognized in Hematology, Microbiology, Histology, Cytology and additional areas. In 2013, Volu-Sol became a woman-owned private business. Volu-Sol is certified as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) through the WBENC, the nation’s largest third party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the US. Denatured Ethanol Denatured alcohol is ethanol (ethyl alcohol) made unfit for human consumption by adding one or more chemicals (denaturants) to it. Denaturing refers to removing a property from the alcohol (being able to drink it), not to chemically altering or decomposing it, so denatured alcohol contains ordinary ethyl alcohol. Our SDA (specially denatured alcohol) ethanol is suitable for healthcare, industrial, and cleaning facilities. Hospitals and frontline healthcare workers are using this product in creating Hand Sanitizers, Sanitizing sprays and other cleaning products. Things to know when using ethanol for Sanitization According to the CDC, an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that meets the alcohol volume requirement can quickly reduce the number of microbes on your hands. It can also help destroy a wide range of disease-causing agents or pathogens on your hands. However, even the best alcohol-based hand sanitizers have limitations and don’t eliminate all types of germs.
