How to Use This Book You can read Voices of the Saints in a variety of ways.The book presents the saints in chronological order from Mary, the queen of all saints, to Mother Teresa. Following this arrangement will give you a sense of where the saints fit into the flow of church history. You can read one selection each day through the year. To help you keep track, Voices of the Saints is numbered from 1 to 365. You can also read Voices of the Saints by topic. Just choose a theme from the chart of ninety-six themes and go to the saints that are listed for each topic. You will find subjects of perennial interest such as Angels, Prayer, and Suffering. And you may be intrigued by such topics as Married Saints, Feisty Saints, and Twenty-Something Saints. The themes begin on page 733. The book includes an alphabetical index so that you can find a saint that interests you. The index appears on page 785.
