Scarfade Scar Treatment Gel with Vitamin C - 15g - Topical Gel Scarfade Scar Gel has been helping improve the appearance of Scars since 1997, but our story begins before that. Our company founder helped develop the very first topical scar treatment product to hit the market in the late 1980's. That product caught on quickly and eventually launched a whole new industry. Over the years since, a number of me too products have entered the market, some of them claiming to be more effective due to ingredients not found in Scarfade. The truth is, our product contains a blend of dimethicones, which are the only ingredients that have been shown to be truly effective via sound scientific studies published in reputable medical journals. Vitamin C - A new version of our Scarfade Gel that combines the scar reducing properties of our standard formula with the Anti-Oxidant healing properties of esterfied Vitamin C. - Vitamin C accelerates scar healing by promoting Collagen and Elastin synthesis, which in turn speeds up the wound healing process. - Easy to apply, clear gel. - Can wear cosmetics or sunscreens over the top of this product. - One 15g tube should be enough for a full course of treatment (about 12 weeks) for scars up to 3" in length. Additional tube(s) may be needed for larger scars. - Recommended scar treatment by physicians.
