About VistaView CableTec Rubber Grommets For 1/8" Cables
VistaView CableTec Rubber Grommets are to be installed on hollow, metal posts for 1/8" stainless steel cable railing projects. The grommets are meant to eliminate direct contact between a metal post and the stainless cable, which minimizes electrolysis and keeps moisture from getting inside the post and leaving rust stains on the cable. The grommets are to be installed in a 1/4" hole by squeezing together and then releasing once in place. The flanges on each side of the grommet hold it firmly in place inside the hole, eliminating the need for any sealant. The grommets are made for a 3/16" post wall thickness or smaller.
