About Victorinox 10-Inch Chef's Knife
Designed to be used in a smooth rocking motion, this large 10-inch chef's knife from Victorinox is ideal for a wide range of chopping, dicing, and mincing tasks. The blade measures 2-1/8 inches in width near the handle, which facilitates scooping up chopped items to place in a pan or bowl. Stamped rather than forged to keep the price reasonable, the high-carbon, stainless-steel blade is ground to a razor-sharp edge that can be re-sharpened repeatedly. The molded Fibrox handle provides a sure grip, has no grooves or rivets to harbor bacteria, and is dishwasher-safe. All in all, this is a lightweight and very utilitarian knife. Started in 1884 in Switzerland, Victorinox is perhaps best known as the manufacturer of the Original Swiss Army Knife. Today Victorinox by R.H.
