Victor Arcair 61065007 10 foot Extreme K3000 Air Carbon Arc Gouging Torch and Cable works efficiently with the natural angles and movements of the arm and wrist. Reliable torch design has been in the market leader for over 60 years. Natural 15 degree torch angle offers greater operator comfort. Positive grip handle provides greater operator feel and ease in positioning torch. Durable front insulators feature high impact, heat resistant and protects the torch metal parts. Swivel cables has less cable twist and less strain on the operator. Reduced weight makes it the optimum cable and torch weight to minimize fatigue. High quality cable hose offers high heat and abrasion resistance and non-conductive. Power and air connection is fully enclosed and protects the electrical connection from touching the work when in operation. It also eliminates the need to insulated with electrical tape. Features a 10 foot 360 degree swivel cable. Heavy-duty insulators, lever, and handle that are all made from fiberglass reinforced thermoset polyester molding compound to withstand the heat and be impact resistant. Forged 1-piece brass alloy body machined to close tolerances on the valve and head seat. Head assembly machined from copper alloy having 4 air holes optimizing the air flow to the arc. Balanced to pivot at the center of the handle for ease of use for all gouging positions, and thereby reduces operator fatigue. Lever spring rated at 146 pounds per inch providing excellent clamping pressure on the air carbon-arc electrode. Applications include medium-duty fabrication, maintenance, railroad and shipyard. Amperage capacity is up to 600 amps. Carbon electrode range for pointed and jointed is 5/32 to 3/8 inch, for flat is 3/8 by 5/32 inch and 5/8 by 3/16 inch. Air requirement pressure is 80 PSI.
