Victor Arcair 22983003 5/32 x 12 Gouging Electrodes Pointed Copperclad DC, 50 per pack has been designed specifically for the air carbon-arc process and contains a precise formulated blend of carbon and graphite. This design produces the most efficient and superior metal removal performance, cool operation and uniform diameters in today's market. Ideal for a broad range of applications including creating u-grooves for weld joint, removing old welds, gouging out cracks, cleaning and repairing castings, removing hard surface material and rough machining. A high grade, all purpose Copperclad pointed gouging electrode. It's controlled copper coating improves electrical conductivity (for more efficient, cooler operation) and helps maintain electrode diameter at the point of the arc. Applications include light-duty maintenance, farms and repair shops. Current type is direct current (DC). Operating polarity is direct current electrode positive (DCEP) with reverse polarity. Electrode size pointed is 5/32 by 12 inches. Amperage capacity is 90-150 amps.
