The Vestil PM4-2772 full-featured pallet truck has a spring-loaded pump handle and articulating rear wheels, and can be used to lift and transport pallets. The forks are made of reinforced triple-formed steel for strength. The red powder-coated finish resists wear and corrosion. The pump handle allows the user to jack up the forks and maneuver the pallet truck. The handle's loop shape allows it to be held in different places for comfort and convenience. A spring-loaded mechanism returns the handle to a vertical position when released. A trigger on the handle releases and lowers the forks. The articulating rear wheels swivel for maneuverability and allow the pallet truck to be used on uneven surfaces. Covers help protect the wheels from dust. Push rods allow the height of each fork to be adjusted in case of an imbalance. Nose wheels and the forks' tapered ends facilitate loading. The poly-on-steel wheels won't puncture or go flat and are resistant to impact and wear. The hydraulic pump piston is chrome-plated for longevity. This pallet truck has a load capacity of 4,400 lb. and a service range of 2-7/8 to 7-3/4 inches high. The forks measure 27 x 72 inches overall (W x L). (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back.) Each fork is 6" wide. This product is intended for use in professional and industrial environments.Pallet trucks, also known as pallet jacks, skid jacks, and pump trucks, are used to lift and transport pallets or skids of goods. Pallet trucks can include a swivel pump handle, a squeeze trigger, two forks, and wheels for maneuverability, and typically contain a hydraulic cylinder or a battery-powered motor to raise and lower the forks. Some pallet trucks have an adjustable push rod on the bottom of each fork, allowing the user to modify the height. Pallet trucks can be used in warehouses, storerooms, shipping facilities, and a variety of industrial environments.Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions.
