The Vestil CART-660-M-PSS partially stainless steel mechanical scissor cart has four caster wheels and a platform operated by a mechanical screw drive and is suitable for lifting and transporting heavy materials in corrosive environments. The cart's platform, frame, handle, caster rigs, and hardware are made of stainless steel for resistance to corrosion. The scissor legs and crank assembly are zinc-plated for corrosion resistance. The mechanical screw drive can be used to raise and lower the platform to an optimal height for loading or unloading, and it prevents the platform from drifting downward for precise positioning. The single scissors mechanism extends to raise the platform to as high as 39-1/4". The caster wheels are made of polyurethane, which has a greater load-bearing capacity than rubber, won't puncture or go flat, and is resistant to corrosion and wear. Two of the wheels swivel for maneuverability. The cart's platform measures 23-1/2 x 37 inches (W x L). (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; L is length, the horizontal distance from front to back.) The cart has a load capacity of 660 lb. and a service range of 17-1/4 to 39-1/4 inches and weighs 143 lb. Lift tables typically comprise a frame, a scissors mechanism, and a hydraulic or motorized platform that can be raised or lowered to an optimal, ergonomic height to load or unload heavy materials, or to support a person. Some lift tables have wheels and a handle, allowing them to be used as carts for transporting materials. The platform may be controlled with a foot pump or, in the case of electric-powered lift tables, push buttons. Lift tables can be used in warehouses and other industrial environments. Vestil manufactures materials handling equipment, including hoists and trolleys, jib and gantry cranes, loading dock equipment, and storage solutions. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Angola, IN.
