The Venus Optics Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D (Canon EOS-M Mount) is an exciting prime that provides ultra-wide-angle coverage up to 113-degree angle of view which is the widest in its class. The tiny size and light weight match perfectly with mirrorless cameras and are suitable to use with gimbals. Two aspherical elements plus 3 extra-low dispersion elements successfully correct the chromatic aberration, realize a close-to-zero distortion and deliver a corner to corner sharpness. Ultra Wide-Angle Lens The 9mm f2.8 Zero-D provides an angle of view of up to 113 degrees, making it the widest in its class. This lens also has a 9mm focal length and f/2.8 aperture and a 12cm minimum focusing distance. Close to Zero Distortion Two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements correct chromatic aberration, giving the lens close-to-zero distortion and corner-to-corner sharpness. The lens has a 15-element in 10-group construction and features a 49mm filter thread.
